Toss and Turn. Wake up with Mud Vein eyes, puffy and swollen. Make Coffee. Words. Typed. Erased. REPEAT. REPEAT. Bang head against keyboard. FUCK THIS SHIT. Storm away and grab some more coffee. Buy stock in Starbucks. Yell at my friends for making read this. TYPE MORE WORDS THAT I WILL JUST ERASE.

This review will be so different than any other review I have written. Since this book was raw and real, I want to be raw and real.

Before I can explain to you how deeply this book changed me, I must take you back. So lets go way back to when I was 18.

I graduated high school and met this amazing older man. I was 18 he was 27. I was just starting my life, he had already lived his. I was scared and I was all he wanted. We had babies and got married and life was real. REAL. 12 years have pasted and marriage is HARD. Some day's it seems easier to just walk away then to stay and try to make it work. Was this what my life was going to always be like? My husband is an amazing father, but I was 18 when I met him and I am 31 now. I have grown, I am no longer a girl, but a women. CHANGE. It happens, but not when you set in your ways and have already had a whole life. In the past week I have questioned my sanity and asked myself if I love my husband or if I am just comfortable with him.

"What's the difference" I asked him. " Between the love of your life, and your soul mate?"
"One is a choice, and one is not."

My life was changed the moment I read that. My view on my marriage, on my parents marriage, on MY WHOLE FUCKING 31 YEARS OF LIFE has been altered. I didn't chose my husband, I didn't have a say in loving him. There is a red string that connects me to him and until this very moment, I didn't know that. He is mine and I am his whether we like it or not.

"Love sticks, and it stays and it brave the bullshit"

Can a book save a marriage? FUCK NO. The people in that marriage have to save it.
Can a book change a person and make them see things clear? HELL YES. My eyes are open and my mind is clear. DOUBTS are gone and LOVE remains. That right there is what will save a marriage.

"Truth is for the mind," he says. "Lies are for the heart. So let's just keep lying." I kiss the man I lie to. He kisses me with truth. I am set free.

Can you feel your heart changing? Can you feel your soul reaching around the words and absorbing them? I hate it. I don't want to feel the way I do about this book. I want to go back and not read it. BUT I CAN NEVER GO BACK. This book has been etched in to my mind, my soul, my heart and it will never leave me.

You will feel me in the fall backwards

I can't even call the words in this book writing. THEY ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. This book is poetry, its magical, it's overwhelming and gut wrenching. IT IS EVERYTHING

I want to have Tarryn Fishers words inked on my skin for eternity. I want to have them on me so when those doubts creep up, I just have to feel the words on my skin and push them away.

My mind, my soul, my heart and my sanity belong to Tarryn Fisher.

Blog Tour - RAZE by Tillie Cole

Title: RAZE
Author: Tillie Cole
Published: December 30, 2014
Source: ARC provided for a honest review
To take back life, one must first face death...
One man stripped of his freedom, his morals...his life.
Conditioned in captivity to maim, to kill and to slaughter, prisoner 818 becomes an unremorseful, unrivaled and unstoppable fighter in the ring. Violence is all he knows. Death and brutality are the masters of his fate.
After years of incarceration in an underground hell, only one thought occupies his mind: revenge...bloody, slow and violent revenge.
Revenge on the man who lied.
Revenge on the man who wronged him.
Revenge on the man who condemned him and turned him into this: a rage-fueled killing machine. A monster void of humanity; a monster filled with hate.
And no one will stand in the way of getting what he wants.
One woman stripped of her freedom, her morals...her life.
Kisa Volkova is the only daughter of Kirill The Silencer’ Volkov, head of the infamous Triad’ bosses of New York's Russian Bratva. Her life is protected. In reality, its a virtual prison. Her fathers savage treatment of his rivals and his lucrative and coveted underground gambling ringThe Dungeonensures too many enemies lurk at their door.
She dreams to be set free.
Kisa has known only cruelty and loss in her short life. As manager of her fathers death match enterprise, only grief and pain fill her days. Her mafia boss father, in her world, rules absolute. And her fiancé, Alik Durov, is no better; the Dungeons five-time champion, a stone-cold killer, the treasured son of her fathers best friend, and her very ownand much resentedpersonal guard. Unrivaled in both strength and social standing, Alik controls every facet of Kisas life, dominates her every move; keeps her subdued and dead inside...then one night changes everything.
While working for her churchthe only reprieve in her constant surveillanceKisa stumbles across a tattooed, scarred, but stunningly beautiful homeless man on the streets. Something about him stirs feelings deep within her; familiar yet impossibly forbidden desires. He doesnt talk. Doesnt communicate with anyone. Hes a man beyond saving, and a man she must quickly forget...for both their sakes.
But when weeks later, out of the blue and to her complete surprise, hes announced as the replacement fighter in The Dungeon, Kisa knows shes in a whole lot of trouble. Hes built, ripped and lethally unforgiving to his opponents, leaving fear in his wake and the look of death in his eyes.
Kisa becomes obsessed with him. Yearns for him. Craves his touch. Needs to possess this mysterious man...this man they call Raze.

There are few authors these days that write outside the box. They write books that are so different from all the others and  when they nail them, your heart skips a beat.

Tillie Cole is that kind of author. RAZE is that kind of book.

Lesbehonest, if Tillie Cole writes a book, I WILL READ THAT BOOK. No need to read the blurb, no need to show me the cover, JUST GIVE ME THE BOOK.

When I saw the cover of RAZE, I kind of took a mental step back and thought " HOLY SHIT. That man is scary." I mean look at the way he is standing, the tattoos, the scars. HE KINDA SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

Then, then I started the book. I wasn't prepared to fall in love, I wasn't prepared to crying so many tears of joy at the end of the book. I wasn't prepared to feel so much disgust and hatred toward a character, that I was plotting his death halfway through the book.

This book. Well, this book pretty much blew me the fuck away. I am in book hangover mode. It wasn't just the story, it wasn't RAZE and my need to try and fix him. IT WAS THE WRITING.

Phenomenal isn't a good enough world to describe Tillie's writing. Actually, there isn't a word in the dictionary to describe the writing in RAZE.

It's her best work to date. She just stepped up her game to a level that has placed her in my top 5 authors of all time.

This book made me feel things, hatred, hurt, sadness, love, vengeance and she broke my heart. But she put it back together. I think I started and stopped this book way to many times to count. I just couldn't continue. I was to nervous, to scared, there were too many feelings and I couldn't process them. I didn't want to process them.

This is a book unlike any other. Its a book that will consume you and stay with you. It's a love story that isn't a love story, but a story about a love so deep, so raw and real, you question if you will ever be lucky enough to have that type of love.

I need to mention the flash backs. I DISLIKE FLASH BACKS. They irritate me and I get lost and I can't figure out what happened after. That being said, Tillie owned the shit out of me with her flash backs. It was effortless, it blended and I fit perfectly in with the rest of the story.

Are you okay, miss? Serge asked as he drove me through the awakening streets of Brooklyn toward the docks.

I pulled my gaze from outside the window and nodded my head, offering Serge an appeasing smile. It is just a hard day. That's all.

Serges expression turned sympathetic in the rearview mirror. Luka Tolstois birthday, he said, and I momentarily lost my breath just hearing those words out loud.

I stared down at my fidgeting fingers and nodded my head. It always pained me to think of Luka. Twenty-six years ago, the three Bratva bosses were all married and each had a son. Luka was born first, then Alik only a few months later. My brother Rodion and I followed a year laterwe were twins. And finally, a year after that, Talia was born, Lukas sister.

We all grew up together, the heirs of the New York Russian underground. We played together, spent
days together in school, or hid together in secret when a threat to our mafiya was made by a rival. It was during these years that I became obsessed with Luka Tolstoi. He, my brother Rodion, and Alik were tight, the three male heirs to the Bratva rule. Rodion was destined to lead, Alik was second to him and Luka the third and final heir.

Luka and I shared something special. From toddlers, we were best friends. Then as the years passed, I knew I had fallen in love with him. I may have only been a child, but I loved him completely. Heart-crushing love.

Mama always said the stars aligned when we were born, that God made us a match. From the first time we saw each other, Luka took me in his arms and swore his protection over me to my mother. Mama used to say she caught him staring into my crib only hours after I was born. Then when she asked what he was doing, he asked her if he could have me. My mama joked and told him it would be my choice when I was old enough to crawl, and from the minute I was old enough to crawl, my mama told me I only ever crawled to one boy Luka Tolstoi.

Id agreed to let him have me. After all, God had created us to match.

Luka had a kind smile and the most beautiful dark-brown eyes. But it was Lukas upper left iris smudged with a small splash of blue that made our mothers think we were destined to be. Mama said God placed a piece of my eye within his so we would always know we shared one soul. Luka was my protector. I adored the way he always held me close, making me feel safe, especially from Alik.
Alik was jealous that Luka had my heart.

When the three boys became teenagers, it all went to shit. In one fateful night, I lost Rodion and my Luka, leaving Alik the sole heir. That was when he immediately staked his claim on me.

Still now, at twenty-five, I missed Luka as if hed just died yesterday. The pain was still as raw as the day Id been told he was gone foreverA part of me just never believed that he did what he was accused of. Id seen it with my own eyes, and even then, I just couldnt think him responsible for killing my brother.

Keep your head up, miss, and the day will pass by just like any other, Serge said sagely. Laying my head against the leather, I closed my eyes.
I was sick of so much loss so much death.

New Release & Giveaway ~ A Necessary Sin by Georgia Cates

Bleu MacAllister is consumed. A horrific childhood incident has caused every decision in her life to revolve around bringing a monster to justice. With years spent studying The Fellowship, an organized crime brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers, Bleu will rely on her skills as a special agent to cut Thane Breckenridge off at the knees. But walking hand in hand with retribution means risking collateral damage, in the form of Breckenridge’s son Sinclair—until Sin becomes so much more than Bleu bargained for. She’s always known this undertaking would place her life in danger—she never imagined her heart would be as well.

Sinclair Breckenridge’s POV:

“I’m in the business of boundaries and limits. I’m aware of what mine are and how far I’m willing to go to get my job accomplished. It can include lying and sometimes stealing.” I wait a moment for driving the last nail into the coffin. “And perhaps the occasional killing.”
“How do you feel when you do those things?”
“Powerful.” I purposely choose that word because it’s the one she used to describe how she felt when she brought Duff to his knees. I want her to see just how similar we are.
She watches out the window for a minute before speaking again. “Do you like the way it feels?”
I can’t lie. I get a high from it. “Very much.”
Another minute passes. “Okay.”
What? “Just … okay?”
“Would you like me to be horrified?” she asks. “I can do that if it would make you feel better or improve your opinion of me.”
She’s no fucking Pollyanna. So I guess there’s no reason for her to pretend to be. “No. Okay works for me.”
I’m not sure if I should be disturbed by her lack of appall. It feels like a double standard to be shocked by an absence of dismay.
My God, has the pot met the kettle? “I wish I could get inside your head.”
“No, you don’t,” she says. “My mind is a dark place to be.”
I think I may have met the perfect woman. In her eyes, I’m not a monster at all.

Cover Reveal ~ L.H. Cosway's HEARTS OF FIRE

We are excited to share with you the cover reveal for HEARTS OF FIRE, the spin-off book to L.H. Cosway's AMAZING book Six of Hearts, which tells the story of Jack McCabe, Jay Fields’ long lost, presumed dead brother. This is a standalone romance scheduled for release on March 9th.

Synopsis The Circus Spektakul√§r is proud to present Jack McCabe: Fire-breather, knife-thrower, risk-taker. My uncle lied. I never died. I breathe fire, eat the poison that almost killed me. Crowds come to see me night after night. Men for the spectacle, women for the thrill. I’m an oddity to be stared at and desired. With each flame I spit, I risk my life. I wear scars on my body that will never go away, but the scars inside my head are far more difficult to overlook. My brother doesn’t know the truth, and if I have it my way, he never will. Life was going exactly the way I’d planned until Lille came along. She wanted to run away with the circus, have an adventure, but this world was never meant for her. I try to keep her safe, because she doesn’t know the dangers that are out here on the road. She doesn’t know the monsters that lurk behind the bright lights of the ring. In truth, I could be considered one of them. We were fashioned from different cloths, never intended to mix. So I watch her. I try not to touch, even when her eyes invite me. Join us in the Spiegeltent and let us give you a show. Allow my Lille to draw a picture for you in paint and sweat and skin. The truest love is always the hardest to let in.   Excerpt Before I knew it I was standing and a spotlight had landed on me, alongside Jack’s dark, indecipherable gaze. I stood frozen for a moment, uncertain of what to do. Then Marina was calling me to the stage and my feet were moving, one after the other, the traitorous bastards. Jack held his hand out to me when I reached him and I placed my palm in his. Without realising it, I’d given him my right hand, my dominant hand, and also the hand that had been burned. When he gripped it, I hissed in a tiny breath at the sting. “Sorry,” he murmured, but he didn’t sound sorry. “It’s okay,” I replied as he led me to an upright wooden panel. Taking my shoulders in his big, warm hands, he gently situated me against it, my back flush with the wood. “I hope you’re good at holding still,” he said and his breath hit the side of my neck. “Why?” I practically whispered. He was incredibly handsome, even more so now that I was seeing him up close, and I felt a little drunk on it. The edge of his mouth twitched, like he was holding back a smile. With one hand braced above my shoulder, he leaned in as he replied, “Because, blondie, I’m gonna be throwing knives at you, and I’d really hate to make you bleed.” Again, he didn’t sound like he meant what he said at all. And I didn’t think there was a single pore on my body that wasn’t tingling. I remembered items number three and four on my list: Have sex with a stranger and do something dangerous. Perhaps if I could get Jack McCabe to do me, then I could kill two birds with one stone. I hadn’t noticed before, because I was too busy staring at him, but there was a belt attached to the wood. I stood there as Jack took it and buckled it extra tight around my waist. He gave it a firm tug once he was done and smirked. I’m not sure why, but the action caused me to tremble. I think he noticed, too, because his eyes grew darker, if that was even possible. Surprising me, he placed his flattened out palm to my belly. I had to try my hardest to concentrate on his words rather than the fact that my libido (the little slut) was willing his hand to move lower. “This is your core. Visualise it. Focus on it. Keep your body in this exact position and everything will be fine.” There was the tiniest edge of a smile tugging at his lips and it made me wonder if he was enjoying this, if maybe he was trying to make me nervous. Sucking in a breath, he continued randomly, “You smell like turpentine.” Then he drew up to his full and impressive height and walked to the other side of the stage. I knew I smelled like turpentine, because I often used it to clean my paintbrushes and sometimes the smell got into my clothes. That wasn’t the part that preoccupied me, that part would be the fact that he’d taken the time to smell me, and I didn’t know if I should be weirded out or turned on. Okay, so I knew which option my libido was going for.   LHCHeartsFireCover6x9_BW_360
